This represents my acceptance of my dad’s death and the fond memories and love that I have for him. There was dad number one who constantly read to me and taught me to read as a child, drove me all over the place (even when I dabbled with being a drummer), funded me through college and bailed me out when I got into debt, eventually grew to love being hugged (I was persistent), and was proud of me even when I turned out to be arty and not a striker for his beloved Arsenal. Then there was dad number two who, in spite of his dementia, was huge fun and laughed in a way that I had not heard before: joyously and without inhibition.

Any profits made from this track, or the EP, will be donated to Dementia UK.
